Fundación Comunitaria has awarded $64,945.10 to support non-profits efforts against COVID-19 in vulnerable communities

Three non-profits organizations have received the grants that will allow them to work closely with their communities in providing educational, preventive and health services regarding COVID-19 in vulnerable communities around the island.

These organizations will execute Fundación Comunitaria de Puerto Rico strategy to activate the community to address the elderly, population that is at most risk of death especially those older than 70 years old.

In Puerto Rico, 21% of the population is 65 years or older, many living under health, economic and social vulnerability.

*Community Health Clinic: PryMed Medical Care, Inc.
