{"id":2351,"date":"2016-11-10T16:45:12","date_gmt":"2016-11-10T16:45:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fcpr.org\/?p=2351"},"modified":"2016-11-15T18:49:12","modified_gmt":"2016-11-15T18:49:12","slug":"pfizer-presenta-tras-los-pasos-de-100-bien","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fcpr.org\/en\/pfizer-presenta-tras-los-pasos-de-100-bien\/","title":{"rendered":"Pfizer presents In the footsteps of 100% Good"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>Educational program administered by the puerto rico community foundation<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>(San Juan, Puerto Rico)- Pfizer perpetuates its educational legacy with its corporate social responsibility project, in a book that compiles the success stories of five of the participating schools titled <strong>\u201c<\/strong><strong>In the footsteps of 100% Well\u201d.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong> This project established in 2011, promotes a school wellness climate based on 4 dimensions: Civility, Self-Esteem, Conflict Management and Health and Environment. These schools have been in collaboration with Pfizer for six years and the project has been managed by the Puerto Rico Community Foundation (PRCF).<\/p>\n<p>Initially, Pfizer sought expert guidance and established an alliance with the Puerto Rico Community Foundation (PRCF) for its development and implementation in schools. It should be noted that the <strong>FCPR <\/strong>is a philanthropic institution that has as one of its focal points the promotion of education at the highest level for students in the public school system in Puerto Rico. To this was added the link that the pharmaceutical company has cultivated with another of the most successful non-profit organizations in our country focused on youth: the <strong>Alliance for a Drug-Free Puerto Rico<\/strong>; The three institutions began to work together on the various dimensions of the project. Thus, the three institutions began to work together on the different dimensions of the project <strong>100% Good<\/strong>. The book is illustrated and shows the activities carried out in each school. It also presents the school leaders' accounts of the results of the project.<\/p>\n<p>100% Bien's main goal was to implement programs designed according to the profile of each school and community in order to improve the school climate. It was also determined that the focal point would be intermediate level students, since in general, being a transitory stage, they tend to be left behind in this type of efforts. \u201c<strong>The journey has been long and intense, but most of all, hopeful. And that is what 100% Bien is all about, to give hope in places where it sometimes fails, to deliver social tools that escape the school curriculum... to make every day better the spaces we inhabit and the schools of our island, where the future is being built.<\/strong>\u201dBlanca Cebollero, communications manager.<\/p>\n<p>In summary, 23 schools have participated in the project's massive activities, of which 5 schools have received direct support: <strong>Jesus T. Pi\u00f1ero<\/strong>, Manat\u00ed, Manat\u00ed, <strong>Angel Sand\u00edn<\/strong>, Vega Baja, <strong>Juan Ram\u00f3n Jim\u00e9nez<\/strong>, San Juan, <strong>Adela Brenes Texidor<\/strong>, Guayama and <strong>Jos\u00e9 Pagan<\/strong>, of Vega Alta.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<strong>100% Bien is the proof that together we achieve more, of the desire of our young people and parents to do more... I am proud that we have been able to capture the experiences of a beautiful project that has changed the course of not only one life but several lives.<\/strong>, said Dr. Nelson I. Col\u00f3n Tarrats, executive president of the Puerto Rico Community Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, 100% Bien con Pfizer has begun to be implemented in other schools as a pilot program where the company has or has had some kind of relationship.
