Applicants must be residents of the towns of Jayuya and Utuado.
CLOSED | The Gualasia Scholarship Fund offers supplemental financial aid to individuals who are pursuing studies in the area of agriculture and education, at the undergraduate or graduate level, and are residents of the towns of Jayuya and Utuado.
In the case of agriculture, studies must be related to agricultural sciences, agronomy, agricultural genetics, biotechnology or other related disciplines. On the other hand, student teachers should have a STEM focus.
To participate, students must demonstrate financial need, satisfactory academic achievement, leadership and interest in community development in Puerto Rico.
