The Northwest Talent Scholarship Fund administered by the Puerto Rico Community Foundation (PRCF)- is born out of a commitment to support academically talented students, who present financial need, demonstrate community leadership and are entering or attending college, who are from the villages of Aguada, Aguadilla, Isabela, Mocha y Quebradillas.
The purpose of this Fund is to provide supplementary financial assistance for to students committed to their academic training and the development of their communities. More than a scholarship, it is an opportunity to grow, serve and shine.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Be a resident of Puerto Rico, coming from Aguada, Aguadilla, Isabela, Moca or Quebradillas.
- Academic Performance (minimum required index):
- 2.80 or higher (4.00 scale) if you are a high school student entering college.
- 3.00 or more for new college applicants.
- Renewals (undergraduate or graduate): 3.00 or more
- Be enrolled or admitted to an accredited university in Puerto Rico.
- Have a full academic load:
- 12 credits (undergraduate level)
- 9 credits (graduate level)
- Demonstrate financial need.
- Demonstrate leadership and community engagement through extracurricular activities and volunteerism.
