The Oriental Fund, administered by the Puerto Rico Community Foundation (PRCF), seeks to support non-profit organizations with business incubation or acceleration programs in Puerto Rico, through donations that allow them to establish seed capital funds for entrepreneurs, in order to stimulate economic development from the communities.
This fund is established in the FCPR with the interest of supporting the development of entrepreneurship in our archipelago. Its purpose is to grant donations to non-profit organizations that have incubation programs so that they can establish a fund that provides seed money to entrepreneurs who are incubating.
Eligibility Criteria:

To be a non-profit organization legally registered in Puerto Rico.

Operating microenterprise incubation or acceleration programs., aimed at entrepreneurs in the archipelago of Puerto Rico.

Proven track record and outstanding in supporting entrepreneurs and/or community economic development.

Demonstrate administrative and operational capacity to manage funds and establish a seed grant fund.

To be committed to community-based economic development., aligned with the objectives of the Eastern Fund.
