Puerto Rico hosts Dialogue on Sustainable Development Goals

The United Nations (UN) adopted in 2015, 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to guide global transformations that promote sustainable and inclusive societies. These constitute a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and improve the lives and prospects of all people.

For some time now, Puerto Rico, guided by several non-profit and private institutions, has been working on the issue and promoting sustainable and inclusive practices from its different platforms. The Puerto Rico Community Foundation proposes the development of a Local Voluntary Report (Local Voluntary Report) to get an overview of the situation of the archipelago in relation to these goals. Each goal groups a series of targets and indicators, which allow us to better understand the meaning behind each SDG and how progress can be measured. Learn more about the SDGs here.

In this space you will find information for adopt and/or expand the implementation of the SDGs in our Puerto Rican archipelago, and make visible your work.

Fundación Comunitaria de Puerto Rico is a philanthropic organization committed to the promotion and strengthening of the SDGs in Puerto Rico. and the SDG program is sponsored by Mott Foundation.
