October 18, 2023 – San Juan, PR – La empresa Procter & Gamble (P&G) Puerto Rico anuncia la apertura de la convocatoria a entidades sin fines de lucro interesadas en someter propuestas solicitando donativos de su programa de ayuda social, Fondo P&G.  Los fondos disponibles para donativos ascienden a $50,000 y están dirigidos a auspiciar proyectos comunitarios enfocados en proveer las comodidades de un hogar a personas en situaciones de desventaja.  

For the past 22 years, in affiliation with the Puerto Rico Community Foundation, the P&G Fund has awarded over one million dollars to dozens of the country's non-profit organizations, positively impacting the lives of thousands of individuals and families across the island.

“As a corporate citizen of Puerto Rico for over 76 years, at P&G we seek to help improve the daily lives of people on the Island by taking concrete actions to do good.”, said Anelsie Ramos, Communications Manager for P&G Puerto Rico.“A positive home experience is the foundation of a stable society. Through the P&G Fund and in collaboration with community organizations, we want to provide home essentials to people in need to give them a sense of stability and a better quality of life.

To request donations from the P&G Fund, entities must submit their proposals online on or before Thursday, November 30, 2023 to the Puerto Rico Community Foundation. Proposals aimed at the development or improvement of physical areas or spaces will be considered to provide comfort and offer a more adequate, safe, and functional environment that impacts the overall well-being of participants.

The selection of organizations to receive donations from the P&G Fund will be the responsibility of the P&G Fund Proposal Selection Committee, composed of P&G company executives and directors from the Puerto Rico Community Foundation.
