Interested young people have until May 2, 2025 to apply for the Alfonso López Chaar and Erica Ivers de López Fund scholarship.
Fourth year students of the José Santos Alegría High School, in Dorado, As of today, you can apply for the supplementary scholarship for post-secondary studies of the Alfonso López Chaar and Erica Ivers de López Fund, established at the Puerto Rico Community Foundation (PRCF).
The Fund provides financial resources to pay for study-related expenses such as books, transportation and food, among others.
The applicant must be a fourth year student in the fourth year of the José Santos Alegría High School, The applicant must reside in the town of Dorado and be interested in pursuing university or vocational studies in labor disciplines related to public service, such as teaching, criminology and nursing, among many others.
Each student could receive up to a maximum of $1,250.00.
