G-8 is taking the lead in cleaning El Caño
The communities surrounding El Caño Martín Peña are very well known because of their resiliency spirit. In the aftermath of hurricanes Irma and María, their resiliency is yet, even stronger. With a grant provided by the Puerto Rico Community Foundation, they purchased chainsaws and put together volunteer brigades to clean up the streets from fallen trees and other debris. They will also provide 850 families, directed affected by the events, with mosquito nets and disinfectant tablets.
