As part of Black Philanthropy Month (BPM) 2023, promoted by The Wise Fund and, in Puerto Rico, by the Puerto Rico Community Foundation (PRCF), we will be holding the roundtable discussion Intertwined Pathways: Advancing Racial Equity and Climate Justice.
The main message will be delivered by Dr. Nelson I. Colón Tarrats, president and chief executive officer of the FCPR; with contributions from the Dr. Palmira Rios, the Dr. Paul Latortue and the Dr. Pablo Méndez.
The round table will be moderated by Hiram Williams Figueroa, J.D., Director of the Institute for Building Racial Equity in the Americas (ICERLA), a program of the FCPR. During the presentation, there will be a dialogue on the importance of keeping the equity lens in mind when talking about climate justice and the aspiration for building a more inclusive and sustainable future.
