OPEN | The The Sombra Lareña Scholarship Fund, administered by the Puerto Rico Community Foundation, provides supplementary financial aid to students who are about to begin undergraduate university studies after graduating from one of the high schools in the town of Lares. Students must demonstrate economic need, satisfactory academic achievement, leadership, and an interest in the community development of Puerto Rico.
