PR Recovery

Puerto Rico Community Recovery Fund

The Puerto Rico Community Recovery Fund was initially seeded by the Puerto Rico Community Foundation (PRCF) and has been strengthened through donations made possible by community foundations, private foundations, and individuals. The Fund is providing grants to communities impacted by hurricanes Irma and María through the community first responders: the community-based organizations who are already active and working with the most vulnerable populations, especially elderly and families with infant and children.

DONATE NOW

PR NOW Recovery

The Recovery NOW Fund was established in the PRCF by a private donor on the island.  The Recovery NOW fund will support local non-profits working on Hurricane Maria relief and recovery efforts in Western Puerto Rico and the Central Mountains region, in many underserved and vulnerable communities in the Central Mountains and Western Puerto Rico.  Many of these areas have been cut off by flash flooding and or extreme tree or road damage. Puerto Rico is strong and will recover, but much more help will be needed to ensure that the most vulnerable populations get the help they need.

Your donation to the Recovery NOW fund will enable the Puerto Rico Community Foundation to direct your donation to areas in Western and Central Mountains that were already economically disadvantaged before the hurricane and are now in extreme need due to Hurricane Maria.  Thank you for any donation you are able to make for this important cause.
